Tip Dec
Mission Statement
Our mission is to alleviate the financial burden of tipping, that many middle-class citizens feel subjected to and obligated to bear. In the United States, we are all aware of an unspoken social norm, in which we are expected to tip service workers in addition to paying our bill. This seemingly obligatory tip can range anywhere from 10%, all the way up to 40%! The founders of Tip Dec, LLC, do not subscribe to this societal dogma. We have taken an elevated free-thinking approach to the social pressures and financial burden inflicted due to the conformity of this monetary tipping tradition. Tip Dec offers a reasonable and genteel solution for those looking to break free of the herd. Tip Dec is a mannerly card that expresses gratitude for the service being provided, as well as a brief explanation with respect to the unapologetic ideology of non-monetary tipping.
About Us
We 100% support service industry and restaurant workers earning a living wage. We are firm believers that men and women alike should not be subjected to sexual harassment, nor discriminated against because of race, religion, or sex. Our mission is to bring attention to the antiquated tipped minimum wage, and pressure the industry to make changes favorable to service workers everywhere. While our approach may seem controversial on the surface, our intent is to increase wages, restore dignity to the server position, and lessen the financial and emotional burden unfairly placed on customers.
